Rachael Dewing, LMT is a warm hearted graduate from the Massage School in Acton and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is certified in Pre & Perinatal Massage and is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner. Her treatments are therapeutic and tend to be deep and focused, however, she easily makes adjustments in pressure for client comfort. Rachael attends workshops so that she can utilize techniques to help resolve issues from chronic stress to physical injuries. She is currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at UMass Boston. She practices martial arts, studies yoga, science, and philosophy and is an avid snowboarder.

Alison Swiatocha, LMT is a deeply caring and perceptive massage therapist and Reiki practitioner. She is a graduate of The Cortiva Institute in Watertown, MA and has strong foundations in deep tissue work, Swedish massage and myofascial release. Alison combines anatomical knowledge and intuition to effectively treat injuries, postural issues, and pathologies. Her work provides great relief to those with acute or chronic pain. Certified and practiced in pre- and perinatal massage, Alison works to reduce the discomforts and structural issues associated with pregnancy. She has a thorough knowledge of the various dimensions, physiological and otherwise, involved in the progress of pregnancy, and offers compassionate healing touch specified for women in all stages.

Brian McGinnis, LMT is excited to be joining the team of Christina Francis Massage Therapy. He previously lived in NYC and Chicago where he was pursuing his passion for bodywork at the same time as his professional dance career. Brian graduated from The Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy in New York City with an Associates Degree in Occupational Science, The Juilliard School with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, and The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Masters of Fine Art in Dance. After a twenty year career touring globally, he celebrates his recent Associate Professorship at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Licensed Massage Therapist position with Christina Francis Massage Therapy.

Brian understands the stresses from daily life activities that cause discomfort. His hands on approach guides his clients to achieve ease and flow that goes beyond the massage table. He is trained in Swedish Massage, myofascial release, deep tissue,and trigger point therapy. With these techniques, a strategic assessment, and a carefully planned goal oriented session, each client will have the focus and attention to help them gain emotional and physical well being through therapeutic massage therapy.

Cathy Burns, LMT is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy and has also studied at the Boston Shiatsu School. Her approach includes Swedish deep tissue, sports massage, and myofascial release. Cathy also blends cranio-sacral and acupressure therapies into her sessions. Her intention is to create a nurturing space which allows clients to fully engage in their personal healing process. She seeks to help facilitate the healing of chronic conditions through attention to each person’s individual needs and presentation.

Christina Francis, LCMT is a nationally board certified massage therapist and trained at the prestigious Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts. Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, she is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association, certified in CPR/First Aid and AED, and certified in Prenatal Massage Therapy.

Christina was an assistant instructor at MTI for three years. Her teaching position at MTI was an enriching experience that allowed her to help students learn new techniques and modalities. She has taught classes in Neuromuscular Therapy and Muscular Therapy technique.

She has furthered her education by becoming certified in Pre & Perinatal Massage, Reiki levels one and two, and deep tissue massage. She has also attended injury work intensives, including Orthopedic Massage and treats acute and chronic conditions. Experience in many different bodywork therapies allows her to work with clients on an individual basis and treat clients with multiple techniques for lasting results.

Christina started her private practice in 2002 in Cambridge and enjoys working with a diverse group of people. She receives regular massage treatments so that she can stay healthy and encourages her clients to receive regular work. Christina is not accepting new clients at this time.
